Frequently Asked Questions

What to Wear

  • Wear the Hip X26 over lightweight, well-fitting clothing.
  • Breathable, stretchy sportswear, leggings, or fitted athletic pants are recommended.
  • Avoid bulky, loose-fitting, or layered clothing, such as thick jackets or oversized sweaters, as these may affect strap adjustment and fit.
  • When wearing a backpack, make sure its straps do not interfere with the device's positioning.

How to Wear and Adjust

  1. Adjust the waist belt to align the motors with your hip joints. Fasten the buckle and tighten the belt for a snug, comfortable fit.
  2. Secure the leg straps above your knees, avoiding the areas behind your knees. Ensure both sides are evenly adjusted.
  3. Straighten any bunched-up clothing or loose straps, then take a short test walk on level ground. If the device shifts or restricts movement, stop and readjust.

The charging adapter supports a maximum charging power of 45 W. With a compatible power charger rated at 45 W or higher, a full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

Note: A power charger is not included. Please use a compatible charger.

Charging Instructions

  1. Stop in a safe location and turn off the device. Once all motor activity has stopped, press and hold the battery release button to remove the battery.
  2. Make sure the charging connectors are dry and undamaged, and the ambient temperature is between 3°C and 35°C. Insert the battery into the charging adapter, then connect it to a power source.
  3. A flashing red indicator means the battery is charging. A solid green indicator means charging is complete. Disconnect the charger and charging cable once fully charged.

If the charging status is unclear or any abnormal behavior occurs, please contact customer support.

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the right-side power button for 3 seconds.
  • Start/Pause Assistance: Press the right-side power button once.
  • Switch Modes: Double-press the right-side power button.

Safety Note: Make sure you are standing securely in a safe location before operating the controls. Before removing the device or replacing the battery, turn it off and ensure that all assistance or resistance has stopped.

The Reudyn App and an internet connection are required for initial device pairing and setup.

Once paired, the Hip X26 can operate independently without a smartphone or internet connection. However, the app is still required to access and switch Custom Modes, and activity data reports may not be accurately displayed without the app.

The Hip X26 battery has a rated energy capacity of 60.48 Wh.

Before traveling, check the rated capacity and quantity shown on the battery labels and confirm the applicable requirements with your airline.

If your carry-on luggage needs to be checked, remove any spare batteries before handing it over.

Airline policies and local regulations may impose additional restrictions. Battery capacity alone does not guarantee that the device or its batteries will be permitted on every flight.
